Opening hours over the festive period and early Jan

A very practical blog this time round to share the details of our opening hours over the festive season and into early January 2024.

The details are below for the festivities:

Come January, we are closing 1 to 4 of the month so our team can have some downtime with their families. We open again on Friday 5 Jan in the evening.

We will also be running slightly different opening hours between 5 and 14 January, as Roy and Sally are taking a break. Our brilliant team will be looking after the pub for us, but with the following caveats to hours:

• OPEN Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6pm til late, serving food 6-8pm but PLEASE BOOK to help them with staffing decisions.

• OPEN Sunday evenings 4-7pm for drinks only.

• CLOSED Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

These hours apply from 5 to 14 January only. They may be subject to change at short notice, so please call ahead to be sure: 01805 625313. The phone and answering machine will be fully monitored whilst we're away. Emails will be monitored, but with less frequency. We will be back to our usual hours from Wednesday 17 January onwards.

This also means we will be taking a break from serving our Sunday roasts until Sunday 21 January, once we are back from our holidays and up and running with our full staff again.
