We now offer our smoked meats, home-cured bacon and corned beef hash and home-baked puddings for you to enjoy at home. Order below and collect from the pub!
We smoke our meats for at least 16 hours in our American smoker. We then pack them in a boil-in-the-bag pouch so you can simply (and economically) re-heat at home. Perfect for a quick supper without all the hassle of slow-cooking the meat yourself. Our beef brisket in gravy, pork belly, ribs and smoked sausages are all available. Sold frozen for ease of storage.
We home-cure our own bacon in black treacle and Dartmoor Beast ale. We also cure brisket to make corned beef (or salt beef as it is sometimes known) and then add potatoes, onions and carrots and peas to create the best corned beef hash you could wish for! All available for you to buy and take home to enjoy. Sold frozen for ease of storage.
All our puddings are home-baked here at the pub by the brilliant Sue, who has years of experience baking. We're often asked by customers to have a tray bake made for them to have at home, so we are now offering these to order. Perfect if you have a dinner party or large family gathering. Or buy one to enjoy all to yourself!
