We're pleased to say we are back open fully after the storms at the weekend took our power out, rendering us unable to serve any food until it came back on. We did however have some lovely evenings with our regulars, serving drinks by candlelight as a borrowed generator kept the heating going for warmth (huge thank you to our regulars Bridget and Andrew for the loan of said generator). We were glad to be able to offer people some refuge during the 53 hour power outage in the village and surrounding area.
We're keeping everything crossed that we don't see another storm of Eunice's strength this year and can get back to some normality. With that in mind, don't forget we have the following events coming up:
Friendly darts night every Thursday, starting at 9pm
Pub quiz, Saturday 26 Feb, starting 9pm
The Howlers, Saturday 5 March, 8.30pm onwards
We are also working on starting up a regular music bingo night! We will share more details soon, but will likely start this in March.
Hopefully we will see you soon for food, drinks and good company.
