See in 2022 in 007 style!

Looking for a suave, sophisticated way to see in the New Year, with a good old-fashioned dollop of country comfort food to make you feel at home? Then look no further than our New Year's Eve party!

We are mixing a James Bond fancy dress and cocktail party theme with a traditional hog roast for that country touch! Go all out on your fancy dress - you could go classic 007 or Bond Girl, or mix it up by coming as your favourite Bond Villain or film. There will of course be prizes for the best dressed!

We will have a full cocktail menu on offer throughout the evening, alongside our usual range of tipples. To enjoy alongside this, you can tuck into a slow-roasted hog roll and sides (included in the price of your ticket) all cooked for 16 hours in-house in our smoker for extra succulence and tenderness. A veggie/vegan option of BBQ pulled Jack Fruit will also be available - please just let us know when you buy your tickets to make sure we have plenty to go round.

Once you have sampled a few beverages and feasted on the hog, we will get the party properly started with live music from the brilliant local band, The Bone Idols. They will be playing us into the New Year with their range of rock, indie and classic covers, that are guaranteed to get you in the dancing mood!

We kick off the evening at 7pm - tickets will be limited to ensure we keep numbers to a safe level within the pub. Fancy getting a gang together from your village or town to come along, but don't want to leave someone as the designated driver? Talk to us about transport, as we may be able to organise a pick up and drop off service via a local hire firm provided we have the numbers. The sooner we can get this booked the better of course, so let us know asap.
